  • Advised Excelerate Energy in first LNG terminal project development and lenders in the second LNG terminal. Acted in the latest gas exploration PSC contracts ONGC/OIL and POSCO/Daewoo.
  • Structured 90+ power projects for clients like General Electric, Blackstone, AES, El Paso etc. Representing major players in renewable IPPs such as Sinennergy, Scatec, CMEC, Total, ZTE, Sharp etc.
  • Counsel for ADB's trade finance matters. Lender's Counsel for AFD, IFC, European Investment Bank, Islamic Development Bank, Finnfund, China Exim Bank, China Development Bank, Industrial & Commercial Bank of China in numerous projects.
  • Appointed by IFC in two PPP transaction advisory mandates for LNG terminal and Port container terminal. Other projects include major toll road PPPs i.e. First Dhaka Elevated/Dhaka Bypass/RAD Expressways, Payra Port, 2nd Kanchpur-Meghna-Gumti Bridges, Shahjalal Airport 3rd Terminal etc. Acted for sponsors/lenders in project development of economic zones like Chinese Economic Zone and China-Bangladesh Iron & Steel Production Zone.
  • M&As includes SZSE/SSE aquisition of Dhaka Stock Exchange, Holcim/Lafarge Merger, Microsoft acquisition of Nokia, Zhenhua's $2bn bid for three gas fields, AES acquisition of Covanta power assets, BMGF's Bkash divestment to Alibaba Group/Softbank etc.
  • Lease/asset finance clients include GECAS, Aercape etc. Fintech clients include Ant-Financial, Amazon and Facebook. Represents global institutional investors like Citibank, Morgan Stanley, Blackrock, Fonterra etc. on capital market.
