Yulchon successfully obtained acquittal for Korea’s ridesharing platform startup SOCAR and VCNC, a Korean version of “Uber”, where passenger transport service based on sharing economy was allegedly in violation of current law.
Intellectual Property & Technology
Yulchon successfully represented Samsung Electronics and Qualcomm in a patent invalidation trial involving a patent that relates to FinFET technology filed against KAIST, and successfully settle the matter. The corresponding US case resulted in a jury verdict of $200 million.
