Link Legal India Law Services

India

Analysis

Overview

The market holds Link Legal India Law Services in high regard for its strengths in aviation, construction, energy and infrastructure work. The firm is a first port-of-call for infrastructure players due to its vast experience in large scale, long-term infrastructure projects, regulator relationships, and ability to go beyond transaction basics into extra layers of service like financing insurance. The firm made some notable hires recently, such as dispute resolution partner Sanjay Gupta from Bhasin & Co, litigation specialist Sarojanand Jha, and corporate partners Namita Das and Vijay Surekha, both from Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. In February 2020, the firm acquired capital markets boutique ‘JPS Legal’ to shore up its capital markets offering. Atul Sharma and Nusrat Hassan are key partners for energy and infrastructure, and corporate and M&A, respectively.
