Karanjawala & Company is an exclusive full-service dispute resolution firm that handles litigation and arbitration on behalf of its clients. Founded by Mrs. Manik Karanjawala and Mr. Raian Karanjawala in 1983, we operate out of three offices in New Delhi.

Over the years, we have come to dominate the litigation landscape of the country and have serviced a wide variety of clients from Prime Ministers, high net worth individuals, celebrities and public figures to captains of industries, leading domestic corporates, multi-national corporates, media houses and royal families.

With a stellar reputation in the market as a ‘go-to firm’ for high stake matters, we are regarded a litigation powerhouse with a prestigious bench of dispute resolution specialists. We began our legal service with a predominant focus on cases in the Supreme Court and High Court of Delhi, but over the years, have expanded our legal vision, ensuring that we have a presence in all the subordinate courts and tribunals of the National Capital Region (NCR). Our services are also often availed by clients to handle litigation on a pan–India basis.

We regularly handle a significant volume of routine civil and corporate-commercial disputes. We have also carved out a niche practice in domestic and international arbitration. Our criminal practice has grown substantially in the last decade, with us handling a number of high stake and high-profile matters including before the inter-alia Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Economic Offences Wing (EOW) and special Criminal Courts. We also proactively engage in pro-bono and public interest litigation for notable causes.

We have expanded our presence across niche fora like the National Company Law Tribunal and the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal, the consumer fora ranging from the District Commissions to the National Commission, the Competition Commission of India, Debt Recovery Tribunal, Mines Tribunal, National Green Tribunal, Electricity Regulatory Commissions, Appellate Tribunal for Electricity (APTEL) and Real Estate Regulatory Authority.

We are considered one of India’s top litigation firms and have close to 250 awards and recognitions. We have a total of 10 partners and about a 100 lawyers at present who work under the leadership of Mr. Raian Karanjawala, Managing Partner and Mrs. Manik Karanjawala, Founding Partner.
