Link Legal India Law Services has welcomed two new partners from HSA Advocates, Aditya Kumar Singh in Delhi and Gaurav Sahay in Bangalore. Additionally, Ketan Mukhija has joined as partner in Delhi from P&A Law Offices.
Singh will join the electricity regulatory practice and Sahay will join the firm’s corporate group. Mukhija will boost the firm’s M&A practice as part of its corporate commercial offering.
Singh’s expertise is aimed at servicing Link Legal’s power sector clients by providing wholistic project advice.
In other lateral news, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas(CAM) in Mumbai has hired dispute resolution partner Lalan Gupta and corporate partner Amruta Kelkar. Former IDFC Bank Group general counsel, Rajeev Uberoi has also joined the Mumbai office as a senior advisor.
Gupta joined from Dhruve Liladhar & Co. His area of focus is in original and appellate litigation and alternate forms of dispute resolution, including arbitration, mediation and conciliation.
Kelkar specialises in M&A and private equity work across a variety of sectors including real estate, healthcare, hospitality, financial services and education. She joined from Economic Laws Practice where she was an associate partner.
Prior to IDFC, Uberoi worked at Standard Chartered Bank and Citibank as in-house legal counsel. He specialises in compliance, vigilance and operational risk governance, and will be part of CAM’s banking and finance practice.
