Overview

Amica Law is the largest boutique intellectual property firm in Singapore and is recommended for the breadth of its local and international IP expertise. The firm climbs into the top tier for IP this year for the continued demonstration of market-leading work. Its leadership are all former Allen & Gledhill IP partners. In the past year, the firm was appointed to the panels of the government’s Housing and Development Board and the Ministry of Trade and Industry’s JTC Corporation to advise on intellectual property matters. It also launched a new corporate and commercial department that complements its IP and technology offerings. Represented Element Six Technologies in a long-running patent infringement suit over synthetic diamond patents, which is now on appeal before Singapore’s apex court.

Successfully defended the operators of Luke’s Lobster lobster roll shacks against a trademark infringement and passing off action launched by the owners of Luke’s Oyster Bar & Chop House restaurants.

Acted for Align Technology in a trademark infringement suit in the High Court against Zenyum.
