Career highlights: Henry Chi-Heng Guei graduated from the department of law at National Cheng-Chi University. After graduation, he worked as a researcher at the patent department of the Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection (the predecessor of the Taiwan Intellectual Property Office), after which he joined Tai-E and acquired his qualification as a lawyer.
Henry has been a practising lawyer for more than 27 years. During his career, he has participated in over 1,000 litigation cases, including civil, criminal, administrative and IP suits (ranging from patent and trademark matters to copyright, trade secrets and unfair competition cases). During this process, Henry established himself as a leading lawyer in the IP field in Taiwan.
Henry became president of Tai-E in 2005, and as a result of many years of effort and successful management, he has led Tai-E to becoming one of the leading IP law firms in Taiwan.
