Career highlights: Rusmaini Lenggogeni is a supervising partner of SSEK’s corporate M&A, telecommunications and IT, dispute resolution, and tax practices. Rusmaini is experienced in advising on cross-border transactions for multinationals and domestic companies. She also advises clients on employment, anti-trust and tax issues arising from M&A transactions.
Rusmaini’s representations include advising a Chinese company on the establishment of a JV company to develop a hydropower project in Indonesia, working with a Korean company in structuring the acquisition of a plantation company, and advising a global provider of civil engineering services on its projects in Indonesia. She advised a leading Korean insurance company on the acquisition of an Indonesian insurer and acted for a Korean mineral resources company on the structuring of a shipping business in Indonesia.
Rusmaini received her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Indonesia and earned her LLM in international business studies from American University’s Washington College of Law in Washington, DC. In 1998, she was a foreign associate at the law firm of Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker in Washington, DC.
