Career highlights: Rusmaini Lenggogeni is co-head of SSEK’s award-winning capital markets law and securities, and corporate acquisitions and mergers practices. Rusmaini is experienced in advising on large cross-border transactions for multinationals and domestic companies. She also advises clients on employment, anti-trust and tax issues arising from M&A transactions. Rusmaini’s recent work includes advising a Chinese company in the establishment of a JV company for the development of a hydropower project in Indonesia, working with a Korean company in structuring the acquisition of a plantation company, and advising a leading global provider of civil engineering services on its operations and projects in Indonesia. Rusmaini graduated from the University of Indonesia Faculty of Law and earned her Master of Laws (LLM) in international business studies from American University’s Washington College of Law in Washington, DC. She attended the Academy of American and International Law in Dallas, Texas. In 1998, she was a foreign associate at the law firm of Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker in Washington, DC. Rusmaini is a member of the Indonesian Advocates Association and the Indonesian Capital Markets Legal Consultants Association, and is a licensed capital markets legal consultant.
