Mr Jin Yu-Lai is the founder and managing partner of Shanghai Kai-Rong Law Firm. He has over 30 years in-depth litigation experience, and specialises in maritime, aviation, insurance and company law.
He is vastly experienced in all phases of complex litigation, non-litigation and arbitration, and has a thorough understanding of commercial law, including maritime, aviation and insurance law. Mr Jin acts for many well-known domestic and international shipping companies, airlines and insurance companies. He has successfully dealt with thousands of cases, as well as providing comprehensive legal services in relation to his clients' business operations.
As a leading aviation lawyer in China, Mr Jin successfully represented Korean Air in handling an aircraft accident in1998; represented Bombardier Inc and its insurer in dealing with the Bao Tou Air crash in 2004; represented Cargolux Airlines and its eight German insurers in a ground handling incident in 2008; and, is now assisting Malaysian Airlines and its reinsurer Allianz in dealing with the missing aircraft on flight MH370, which disappeared on March 8 2014.
