Career highlights: Mr Lee has significant experience in banking litigation, corporate rescue, insolvency and restructuring. He acts in substantial and complex loan recovery actions for both international and local banks, as well as claims for misrepresentation, negligence and breach of trust. He advises liquidators and provisional liquidators in insolvency and restructuring, and listed companies in schemes of arrangement. His extensive practice on commercial disputes covers shareholders’ disputes, breach of fiduciary duties of directors, breach of commercial agreements, disputes involving sales of goods and services, and commercial fraud.
Mr Lee is experienced in anti-discrimination laws, privacy and data protection, which his clients include banks, listed companies, tertiary institutions and NGOs. Mr Lee regularly advises employers in both public and private sectors on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters. In addition to providing advice and drafting documentation, he acts for employers in appeal courts, ADR and disciplinary proceedings. He is also the author of various publications on employment, data privacy and discrimination. He also handles professional negligence claims in property transactions, as well as arbitration and ADR involving construction disputes.
