Anagram Partners was launched in mid-April this year by two former Nishith Desai Associates partners, Simone Reis and Rajesh Simhan. Last week, former Tata Sons general counsel Shuva Mandal announced he would be joining the Mumbai-based Anangram.
Prior to his four years at Tata, Mandal was the lead corporate and M&A partner at Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co from late 2015 until June 2017. Before SAM, he spent 15 years at AZB & Partners.
Reis was the former M&A co-head at NDA and Simhan was the leader of its international tax practice
Anagram is off to a good start, with the founders recently advising TCV on its $100 million Series E investment with Dragoneer Investment Group into India-based global logistics platform, FarEye.
