INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE: THERE ARE ONLY TWO BANK MERGERS IN THE PAST 10 YEARS IN MALAYSIA AND VINCENT CHAN HANDLED BOTH OF THEM. THIS SAYS A LOT ABOUT HIS RECOGNISED EXPERTISE AND EXPERIENCE IN HANDLING BANK MERGERS:
a)Advised one of the largest Government linked fund management companies in Malaysia and a Government linked development finance group of companies on their proposed RM2.4 Billion merger with another foreign controlled banking group.
b)Advised Qatar Islamic Bank, Financial Assets Bahrain W.L.L, RUSD Investment Bank Inc and Tadhamon International Islamic Bank in the RM650 Million Financial Institutions M&A Transaction between Asian Finance Bank Berhad And Malaysian Building Society Berhad, creating the 2nd largest Islamic Bank in Malaysia.
