Yaowarote Klinboon wins our January lawyer of the month award for her move to Tilleke & Gibbins as a partner and the new head of its capital markets practice. Klinboon joined the firm’s Bangkok office from Hunton Andrews Kurth. Four lawyers moved over with her, including three senior associates and one associate.
Klinboon is a capital markets veteran with over 20 years of experience in local and global capital markets. She advises on securities offerings, as well as international and domestic offerings of equity and debt instruments. She is also experienced in general corporate matters and mergers and acquisitions, particularly in the renewable energy industries.
Prior to her time at Hunton Andrews Kurth, Klinboon worked at a boutique securities law firm, Weerawong & Partners, and as a legal officer at both the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Stock Exchange of Thailand.
