Jones Day has opened an office in Dubai. The new office will consist of six lawyers and will focus on energy, finance, arbitration and M&A.
Arman Galledari will relocate from Jones Day’s London office to become partner-in-charge of the Dubai office. Galledari's practice focuses on energy and project finance.
Galledari will be joined by finance lawyer Jennifer Calver and corporate lawyer Dan Partovi, also from Jones Day’s London office, as well as litigation partner Sheila Shadmand from the firm’s Washington office.
Finance specialist Ali Awais will move from Baker Botts in Dubai and locally qualified Aziz Kurtha will also join.
