Baker & McKenzie has advised ETF Metal Securities (ETF) on the first listing of products to be admitted to trading status on the Australia Exchange’s (ASX) new Aqua platform.
The company is offering four new structured products known as "ETF Metal Securities". Additionally, a fifth product ETFS Physical Gold is the first product to be moved from the ASX main list to the Aqua platform.
The ASX Aqua rules came into effect September 15 2008. They create a new regime under ASX market rules, providing a more flexible framework for the listing of funds and structured products.
