Robert Woll has been named co-partner in charge of WilmerHale's Beijing office, at which he will share responsibility with Lester Ross. The move will bring private equity and venture capital expertise to the firm's China practice.
Prior to joining WilmerHale, Woll was the managing partner of Morrison & Foerster's Hong Kong office, at which he advised on mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, joint ventures and corporate governance issues. also In particular, he advised a wide range of private equity, venture capital and real estate investment funds on their organization and marketing to global investors, and their investment activities in China and elsewhere in Asia.
